Classes run approximately 55 minutes. This allows time for students to change classes and use the restroom. Children should arrive five or ten minutes before class and be picked up promptly. Children should not be left unattended in the lobby as no adult supervision is provided outside of the classroom.
If you need a parent/teacher conference, please call for an appointment. There is not enough time between classes to adequately handle these discussions.
Attire - Students must wear leotards and tights to all classes as well as the appropriate footwear: pink shoes for ballet and black shoes for tap and jazz/hip hop. Long hair must be secured.
Attendance - Attendance is very important for the student’s continued progress. If you need to miss a class, please call to let us know you will be absent and to schedule a make-up class. No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes.
No gum, food, or drink is permitted inside the dance classroom.
Please label all your shoes and dance equipment.
A recital will be scheduled
for the end of the year. The recital is very important in developing the
dancer’s stage presence and performance skills. It is also a lot
of fun and offers a reward for all the hard work and preparation of the
dancer.
